Greg Foxsmith
A solicitor advocate currently with Kingsley Napley, Greg has previously campaigned on civil rights and Justice issues. Greg is a lifelong Argyle fan, born in Plymouth. Now living in London, Greg is the chair of PASALB (Plymouth Argyle Supporters Association London Branch) . His Blog site is full of interesting stuff. Matt Tiller
A television producer, writer and songwriter who, having learned of the Jack Leslie story, was inspired to pen a tune, The Ballad of Jack Leslie, which led to Greg suggesting the idea of a wider campaign.
Matt grew up in Plymouth, was a season ticket holder as a boy and is now a member of PASALB.
Hayley lives in Plymouth, and is a social activist interested and involved in campaigns for equalities and justice- so the Jack Leslie Campaign seemed like a good fit! Hayley is a supporter of Hope FC. You can read about Hayley’s amazing life here
Patrick Strode
Patrick lives in Plymouth, is an Argyle fan, and has been an active supporter of the Campaign from it’s inception. He also produces artwork, and has donated works which have been sold to raise funds for the campaign. Check out his illustration work here
George Connett
George is a great great nephew of Jack Leslie. Like all the family members, he supports the campaign, and has spoken about Jack including telling Jack’s story in school assemblies, and speaking on TV – see here
Lee Jameson – Liaison Officer
Lancashire based Lee is a self employed consultant who has a passion for social justice and Plymouth Argyle. He was a founder member of The Argyle Fans Trust, former chair of PASALB and secretary for APFScil.
Rich Leppard – Treasurer
Richard is an accountant and Argyle fan whose vocal support for the team both home and away has earned him the nickname from fellow fans as “Loud Rich”
Tony Fitz-Gerald
Tony was raised and schooled in Plymouth before training as a teacher in Bromley, Kent. He spent his teaching career in Dubai and retired last year to the UK to concentrate on all things Green.
John Griffiths – Design
Through his successful Plymouth based company, LUA Design, John creates websites, digital and print material. He has an enviable client list that includes big name comedians like John Bishop, Romesh Ranganathan and Mo Gilligan. He is also… an Argyle fan.
Amanda Jacks
Amanda is the Case Worker for the Football Supporters Association, assisting fans in trouble and campaigning for better match day policing and stewarding. She lives in East London and is a West Ham United supporter.
Jon Treharne
Jon is a Plymouth resident, and passionate Argyle fan, and together with Ali Treharne comprises the senior team at Plymouth based Shore Financial Planning. Both Jon and Ali and the Company are supporters of the Campaign, and Jon will be leading on getting more local businesses and companies on board, as the Campaign consolidates it’s fundraising to get the best possible statue, backed by the local business community in the South West.
Jamie Burton – Youth Ambassador
With a passion for football, history and social justice, Jamie is Plymouth Argyle U18’s Fans’ Ambassador and is behind the forthcoming Jack Leslie Raffle. He took up the role as our Youth Ambassador to help spread awareness of the campaign to younger fans and is instrumental in our social media output, especially instagram.

Project Teams
Our committee members welcome expertise and enthusiasm from people interested in the campaign who want to help with smaller projects of special interest. Those groups communicate by WhatsApp teams, so please get in contact if you are interested in a particular aspect- eg fundraising, education, black history month, comms, art, history etc
